How it Works
The WEG Motor Scan® can be easily configured via a smart device (App available for Android and iOS).
Installation is fast, simple and the entire process is guided directly in the app during sensor configuration. The WEG Motor Scan® is fixed by screw on the motor fin and there is no electrical connection between the motor and the sensor.
Once configured, the sensor sends data to the cloud via Bluetooth® or Gateway and enables analysis of the results in WEG Motion Fleet Management.
The data can be collected via Bluetooth® on the smartphone, by the app, or automatically via the Gateway, programmed specifically for the sensors. The engine information is sent and stored in the cloud and can be further analyzed in WEG Motion Fleet Management.
With the WEG Motor Specialist module, a solution that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to diagnose, monitor and indicate predictive maintenance in electric motors, the diagnostics are made autonomously, allowing the user a quick maintenance action. After the data collection, motor performance information is transmitted to a secure cloud server where it is analyzed and turned into reports, which can be viewed anywhere: directly on a smartphone, tablet or desktop.
