The fixed vacuum circuit breakers VBWB lateral poles rated currents up to 1,250 A, 24 kV and 21 kA are robust and reliable.
With pole distance of 230 mm, the VBWB complies with the rigorous distancing requirements for disconnectors (both gas-insulated and air-insulated). This ensures an easy and simple installation that fully adapts to the client's project, eliminating the need for large investments and additional costs due to structural modifications.
We use the encapsulated interrupter model, which guarantees high reliability in arc extinction, allowing for a high vacuum level inside and housing the fixed and moving contacts. The electric arc is initiated the moment the contacts separate and, thanks to the structure in which these contacts are housed, it is easily extinguished.
The excellent insulation inside the interrupter prevents the loss of vacuum and therefore minimizes contact wear in case of short-circuit; it also efficiently reduces the energy generated by the arc.
