Manufacture of Electric Motors line HGF, W50, W51, W60 315-450 (220 V to 13,800 V), W22 315-355 (220 V to 6,600 V), and W40 315-450 (220 V to 10,000 V), power from 175 CV up 3,200 CV.

Test of Three-Phase Electric Motors with tension from (220 V to 13,800 V) and power from 150 to 3,200 CV.

 

Note: The Energy Policy was developed for the WEG Group, however, the ISO 50001 requirements are established in Plant VII, which does not undertake development and commercial processes.

RESTRICTED SUBSTANCES AND CONFLICT MINERALS POLICY
 

Restricted Substances and Conflict Minerals Policy

WEG is committed to controlling and restricting restricted substances (composition and origin), in its products and production processes, in accordance with the limits established in the regulations, contributing to the sustainability of the business.

Abrangence

This document is applicable to products manufactured in all WEG's business units and branches, and can be deployed in the branches with the necessary local adaptations.

Guidelines

  • Guide the handling of issues related to restricted substances in WEG products, according to the applicable regulations, in the production plants, commercial branches and suppliers of raw materials, components and inputs;
  • Respect the limits of restricted substances, established in the regulations, in their products, packaging, processes and WEG supply chain, using the WEG’s Restricted Substances List (LSR) as an official basis;
  • Monitor the appearance of new regulations or changes to existing ones, revising the LSR whenever necessary;
  • Make efforts in its supply chain to ensure that its products do not have minerals from countries with mining restrictions (Conflict Minerals).

Roles and Responsabilities

WEG Supply Areas

  • Develop and maintain suppliers that comply with the LSR and the WEG procedures, including those related to Conflict Minerals;
  • Ensure that the suppliers' declarations of conformity and the tests carried out are updated according to WEG procedures.

Suppliers of raw materials, components and inputs

  • Ensure adherence with this Policy and be in accordance with the Supplier's Code of Ethics and the Supply Agreement;
  • Supply raw materials, components and inputs according to the LSR and the WEG procedures, including those related to Conflict Minerals;
  • Provide the Declarations of Service to the directives and, when requested, the supporting analyzes;
  • Involve your suppliers, supply chain, in the management of restricted substances process and Conflict Minerals.
