Alberto Yoshikazu Kuba

Alberto Yoshikazu Kuba holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), has a specialization in Corporate Finance from Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC), and in leadership and management. Participated in the Executive Program for Growing Companies at Stanford Business School, in the United States, and in the Advanced Management Program (PGA), a partnership between FDC and INSEAD. He also holds an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

At WEG since 2002, he began his career as an intern and trainee, he later had the opportunity to work in with different areas of the company and establish himself in industrial motors sales. He began his international career in China and worked in the marketing and sales areas until assuming the position of managing director of local productive operations.

He returned to Brazil in 2020 as Industrial Motors managing director, having also worked in the United States during 2023. Currently, he was appointed as Executive President of the Company, taking over the position previously held by Harry Schmelzer Jr. for 16 years.
