One of the world’s largest manufacturers and service providers of integrated flow-control systems entrusted WEG with the supply of a medium-voltage variable speed drive for pump tests up to 1500 HP / 4160 V, as well as a soft starter for 1250 HP / 4160 V and 2300 V motors.

Installed in the customer’s test laboratory in Ecatepec de Morelos, Mexico, the equipment will be used for routine, type, and special tests, enabling the simulation of real operating conditions and validating the performance of the pumps produced. In addition to increasing technical capacity, the project strengthens the laboratory’s visibility among engineering teams and customers, serving as a high-impact technology demonstrator.

For WEG, the supply marks the first sale of a medium-voltage drive to this customer in Mexico, consolidating a strategic partnership with strong potential for future projects. For the customer, the solution delivers greater efficiency, reliability, and autonomy during tests, while also reducing costs and logistical time by performing certifications directly on-site.
