Floor Solutions
The floor of a food processing facility is typically exposed to all sorts of food by-products, including fats, oils, blood, sugar solutions, and natural food acids. Some of these substances can cause serious damage to the floor due to their corrosive impact.
In addition, the urethane floor paint has highly effective antimicrobial properties, so bacteria and fungi do not proliferate on the floor. With self-leveling properties, the urethane paint is matte and also an extremely hygienic material, resulting in easy and fast cleaning, as it does not have porosities that absorb any type of dirt.

Cold Rooms
The cold rooms environments, walk-in freezers are different from any other environments. Regular exposure to thermal cycles during cleaning and sanitation procedures and severe condensation are some of the specific challenges these environments face requiring high performance paints. This type of application can cure at temperatures as low as -5 °C, facilitating the application, as the equipment do not need to be turned off. In addition, they offer excellent resistance to impact and chemicals. The cold room floor is typical for supermarkets, hospitals, food, baverage, dairy and pharmaceutical industries.

Tanques de Almacenamiento y Tuberías
La pintura tiene como objetivo principal proteger los tanques de acero y hormigón contra las intemperies y las paredes internas de los tanques contra la corrosión.
WEG desarrolla tecnologías para pintura externa de tanques capaces de soportar temperaturas hasta 220 ºC (428 ºF) y aplicación en superficies calientes hasta 85 ºC (185 ºF) sin parada total.
De la misma forma que la pintura interna proporciona una adecuada protección anticorrosiva con pinturas atóxicas, existe una barrera extra contra la proliferación de bacterias y microorganismos que pueden ser prejudiciales para los alimentos.
Cuando el equipo se pinta con tintas de alto desempeño, se evitan problemas, garantizando la productividad y la ganancia esperados, reduciendo gastos con arreglos en el revestimiento y paralización de la producción no programada.
WEG aplica distintas tecnologías para atender las normas técnicas para pinturas en polvo y líquidas para uso en contacto con agua potable y bebidas alcohólicas.
