On August 10th, the SMACNA Brazil held the 24th Highlights of the Year Award at the Milenium Convention Center, in São Paulo City. Held since 1993 and considered the most important of the HVACR segment in Brazil, the event awards the best thermal environmental engineering projects, which also meet the environmental conservation and energy efficiency requirements.

Among the eight awarded projects, two count on WEG solutions: Atlântico Port, in Rio de Janeiro City, and Paulista North Way Shopping, in Paulista City. The supplied products include specific frequency inverters for HVACR, and the line of Controls.

In addition to strengthening the commitment to the thermal environmental engineering installers, the recognition of two such important projects shows WEG's constant evolution in the infrastructure area. “We are significantly expanding our portfolio for the infrastructure area with new product lines, such as fully tested panels and shielded busbars, as this area is part of our growth strategy for the next years,” points out Manfred Peter Johann, CEO of WEG Automation.
