WEG, with its main plants in Brazil, is an independent international company with sales to over 135 countries, employing above 30000 people, manufacturing in 34 production units around the world with an annual group sales of 3.2 billion Dollars.

WEG BENELUX S.A. is the first sales Branch in Europe created in September 1992.

Thanks to the strategic location in the heart of Europe, an excellent road and railway network and the proximity of Antwerp as the second biggest European port, WEG BENELUX S.A. ensured the logistic support for the WEG Branches and independent distributors in all Europe.

The local Belgian and Dutch distributors can rely on the excellent service and the important stock of the Branch located in Nivelles.

Since 2003 a special attention is given to the growing number of OEM accounts attracted by WEG's wide product range and its flexible approach.

In order to fulfill the special needs for these new accounts WEG BENELUX S.A. moved into its new premises in August 2004 including 4500m² of warehouses and a fully equipped workshop of 260 m².

As support to the local end-user market WEG BENELUX S.A. set up a reliable sales and service network for low and medium voltage motors and drives products.

WEG produces electric motors (low and medium voltage), generators, drives, softstarters, coatings, contactors and transformers and offers total solutions to its customers.

Note: The Energy Policy was developed for the WEG Group, however, the ISO 50001 requirements are established in Plant VII, which does not undertake development and commercial processes.
