WEG supplied three large submersible electric motors to EN Motors for the operation of dredging pumps at depths of up to 50 meters. Designed to operate dry and air-filled, the equipment significantly reduces environmental risks compared to oil-filled alternatives. With a rated power of 3,400 kW at 440 rpm, these motors are among the largest of their kind ever produced, highlighting WEG’s capability to serve large-scale applications with high technical complexity. 

The supply reinforces the long-standing partnership between WEG and EN Motors, which has spanned more than three decades. For EN Motors, the new motors deliver reliability and efficiency in a process that is critical to its operations. For WEG, the project represents the result of highly engineered collaborative work with the customer, reaffirming its technical expertise and commitment to providing tailored solutions for critical demands.
