Technologische Innovation bedeutet für WEG hauptsächlich die Entwicklung neuer Technologien, neuer Produkte, Werkstoffe und Tests, um die Effizienz und Qualität zu erhöhen und zugleich die Kosten und die in den Produkten verarbeiteten Werkstoffmengen zu reduzieren. Auf diese Weise wird das Unternehmen wettbewerbsfähiger, es erobert neue Märkte, sorgt für nachhaltige Strukturen und leistet einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Schutz unseres Planeten.

2019 haben wir 548 Millionen R$ in die Forschung & Entwicklung investiert.

Programm für technologische Entwicklung „TDP“

Bei WEG werden alle Ideen über das Qualitäts- und Produktivitätsprogramm WPQP (WEG Program of Quality and Productivity) organisiert und verwaltet. Das TDP-Programm (Technological Development Program) ist Bestandteil des WPQP-Programms und dient zur Erfassung von Innovationsprojekten für neue Produkte und Prozesse. Auf Grundlage der technologisch-strategischen Planung werden hier die verschiedenen Projekte definiert, die für die Programme in Frage kommen.
