The fixed vacuum circuit breakers VBWB lateral poles, with rated currents up to 1,000 A, 17.5 kV and 16 kA, are highly compact.
With pole distance of 230 mm, the VBWB complies with the strict distancing requirements for switch-disconnectors (both gas-insulated and air-insulated). This ensures an easy and simple installation that fully adapts to the client's project, eliminating the need for large investments and additional costs due to structural modifications. The 17.5kV voltage model is the shortest model of this type, allowing for a reduction in panel size and facilitating the installation of CT, VT and switch-disconnectors.
We use the encapsulated vacuum interrupter, which guarantees high reliability in arc extinction, allowing for a high vacuum level inside and housing the fixed and moving contacts. The electric arc is initiated the moment the contacts separate and, thanks to the structure in which these contacts are housed, it is easily extinguished.
