The RDWH-A-Hi Series (type A) provides earth leakage detection for residual currents of 30 mA or 300 mA. Available in two-poles and four-pole versions, with a current range from 25 A to 63 A.
With the same characteristics as type A, it features a small operating delay, preventing sporadic tripping caused by overvoltages from lightning (atmospheric discharges) or switching operations in the utility grid.
It is capable of distinguishing between a dangerous leakage currents and small leakages currents generated by electronic equipment, tripping only when there is a real risk to human life.
The prevention of false tripping makes it the ideal choice for installations with many electronic devices or in locations with unstable power networks.
