Alberto Yoshikazu Kuba

Alberto Yoshikazu Kuba is an Electrical Engineer graduated from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), with an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Specialization in Corporate Finance from Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC). He is also an expert in leadership and management, having participated in the Executive Program for Growing Companies at Stanford Business School, in the United States, and in the Advanced Management Program (PGA), through a partnership between FDC and Insead Business School.

At WEG since 2002, he began his career as an intern and trainee, with the opportunity to know different areas of the company and establish himself in Industrial Motors sales. He begins his international career in China, where he worked in the marketing and sales areas until assuming the position of Managing Director of local operations.

He returned to Brazil in 2020 as Managing Director of WEG Industrial Motors, having also worked in the USA during 2023. He was currently appointed as Executive President, taking over the position previously held by Harry Schmelzer Jr. for 16 years.
