This class will provide the distributor with basic knowledge of Drives, Soft-Starters and Industrial Control products from WEG. Drives and Soft-Starters will include some hands on training to familiarize the student with basic programming.

This class will give the distributor fundamental tools required to perform a certified start up on a WEG Drive or Soft-Starters. Topics included will be cold power checks and wiring confirmation, programming common functions such as three-wire start, accel/decel ramp, min/max speed, electronic potentiometer, multi-speed, PID loops, etc.
Objective: Train on how to perform basic start up on CFW`s, SSW`s and Panels.
Public: Distributor, Service Centers and Service team.

This class will teach the participant the fundamentals of WEG’s Pump Genius software. Topics include basic set up of the Pump Genius system and use of the Pump Genius wizard. With hands on demos the student will learn how to set up simplex and multiplex pump systems, set up process set point and feedback control loops, configure for direct and reverse control, and set up and troubleshooting of faults and alarms.
Objective: Train professionals to set up the Pump Genius Wizard.

Prerequisites: AST0 or AST1 or similar work experience plus basic understanding of simplex and multiplex booster pump systems

This class will give the participant detailed understanding of WEG drives for a service technician. Topics will range from basic commissioning to troubleshooting and maintaining general purpose drives. Through hands on training the student will learn troubleshooting of common problems as well as replacement of common parts in the drive. Upon successful completion, the student will be able to commission, maintain and troubleshoot and repair WEG drives in common applications. The class is required for a certified Service Center technician.
Objective: Train professionals to commission, troubleshoot and repair the WEG drives, Soft Starts and Panels.
Public: Service Centers and Service Teams.

Topics will range from basic commissioning to troubleshooting and maintaining Medium Voltage drives. Through hands on training the student will learn troubleshooting of common problems as well as replacement of common parts in the drive. Upon successful completion, the student will be able to commission, maintain, troubleshoot and repair WEG Medium Voltage drives in common applications. Attending the class, as well as assisting in a Medium Voltage startup with a certified medium voltage technician/engineer is a requirement in order to be a WEG Medium Voltage service center.
Objective: Train professionals to commission, troubleshoot and repair the MVW/01.
Public: Automation Service Team and Service Centers.

This class will give participants detailed understanding of the WEG SSW7000 Medium Voltage Soft-Starter. Topics will range from inspection to basic start-up and troubleshooting. Through classroom and hands-on training, the student will be able to commission, maintain and troubleshoot the SSW7000 soft-starter for common applications.
Objective: Train professionals to commission, troubleshoot and repair the SSW7000.
Public: Automation Service Team and Service Centers.
