Interconexión Eléctrica S.A (ISA), a Colombian energy transmission company all over the country expands three of its substations, Huapango, Cértegui and Istmina with the acquisition of four WEG power transformers.
Transformers were built in power ratings of 8 to 30 MVA and will be installed in the middle of the forest, where the substations are located. ISA owns 8.935 kilometers in transmission lines with voltage levels above 110kV, 46 substations, 10,105 MVA of transforming and 3,285 MVAR of compensation. Besides Colombia, the company holds business in Peru, Panama and Bolivia.
