Anderson Fernandes is an electrical engineer graduated from the Joinville School of Engineering (FEJ), with a specialization in Rotating Electrical Machines from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He participated in executive programs at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) in Executive Development and at Fundação Dom Cabral in Management, Strategy, Finance, and Marketing.
At WEG since 1997, he began his career as a sales intern and progressed through different positions. He was expatriated to the United States, where he worked as Vice President and Sales Director. Subsequently, he was appointed President of the Electric Machinery unit in Minneapolis.
Upon returning to Brazil, in the Energy unit, he assumed the role of International Sales Manager, becoming Director of International Business and, later, Global Director of High Voltage Motors and Generators.
Currently, as International VP, he is responsible for all of WEG’s commercial subsidiaries abroad. In Brazil, he leads the International Sales and Marketing departments and Business Development of the International Division.
