Vice President of Technology

Carlos José Bastos Grillo holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG), and postgraduate in Production Engineering from the Universidade São Judas Tadeu, in São Paulo and in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

At WEG since 1997, the executive has extensive experience in products, industrial processes, engineering and software development.

Currently, he is the Vice President of Technology, responsible for defining strategic guidelines for technological development and for identifying and fostering synergies among WEG’s products and solutions. The area will begin operating in a matrix structure, providing support to all of the company’s Business Units.
