WEG has reinforced its position as a global provider of intelligent energy and automation solutions through the supply of advanced frequency drives for a smart solar pumping project developed by Riegosolar in Spain. Riegosolar is a Spanish engineering company based in Valladolid, dedicated to the application of solar energy solutions for agricultural irrigation systems. The project, implemented in the region of Castile-Leon, demonstrates how WEG technology enables efficient, autonomous and sustainable water management for agricultural applications, even in isolated locations. 

For this project, WEG supplied a robust and high-performance drive solution based on its ADV200-SP and ADV50 series, specially designed for demanding pumping and renewable energy applications. The scope of supply included WEG frequency drives with different power ratings, configured to control and manage the operation of the pumping system with maximum efficiency and reliability. This solution ensures precise control of flow and pressure, operational stability, and optimized energy use throughout the irrigation process. 

At the heart of the system, WEG drives manage the operation of the pumping infrastructure, enabling intelligent automation without the need for complex auxiliary energy systems.
