WEGSee+ is software designed to simulate the application of high-efficiency electric motors, with a focus on reducing electricity consumption in industry. The software is free, multiplatform (available for computers, tablets, and smartphones), and generates comprehensive feasibility reports for replacing one or more electric motors.
The program calculates the potential savings the user can achieve by replacing an electric motor currently in operation, burned out or new, with a more efficient one, using data on the current or proposed motor, such as power rating, number of poles, number of windings, and hours of operation.
In addition to the projected savings, in Brazilian reais (R$) and kilowatt-hours (kWh), WEGSee+ presents financial indicators such as NPV (Net Present Value) and IRR (Internal Rate of Return).
