For the fourth consecutive year, WEG was among the 150 Best Companies to Work For, in the Multi-Sector Industries category, by Você S / A Magazine, one of the most important and traditional awards of the press, specialized in Human Resources in Brazil.

Created in 1997, this award is intended to value the 150 companies that best care for their employees. This work is based on a methodology created by the magazine's team in partnership with the Administration Institute Foundation (FIA), which covers not only the questionnaire responded by the companies with objective and descriptive questions, but also employee participation through a survey. This year's edition was attended by 500 companies that voluntarily signed up for the analysis.

In addition to having more than 25,000 employees respond to the survey, the Magazine’s team visited 87 cities all over the country to meet 202 companies where they have interviewed more than four thousand employees.

At WEG, three thousand employees were selected to respond to the survey, 87% agreed to respond and 25 were interviewed personally.

WEG scored 87.3 on the Workplace Quality Index (employee rating) and 85.3 on the survey's final score, named Employee Satisfaction Index (ESI), the highest score in the Multi-Sector Industries category (with over 1500 employees). WEG was second in this category and the winner was the company Kordsa (state of Bahia) with 414 employees. With an ESI of 85.3, WEG is among the top 10 companies to work for in Brazil, including all 21 categories surveyed by the magazine.

In addition to being a prestigious national recognition, this achievement stresses everyone's engagement to satisfaction at work, following the company's policies and implementing initiatives with commitment, transparency and simplicity. We will continue to identify opportunities for improvement, not only to achieve good indicators about Satisfaction at Work, but specially for employees care”, says Hilton José da Veiga Faria, WEG´s HR and Corporate Affairs Director.

The awarding ceremony took place on November 19, 2019, in São Paulo. The Company was represented at the ceremony by HR and Corporate Affairs Director, Hilton Jose da Veiga Faria, and HR Manager Alexandra Oppermann.
