In a ceremony held on the past 26th at the WTC Events Center, in São Paulo, WEG received the Kaizen Lean award in the category “Excellence in the Continuous Improvement System”. The award takes into account the practices of the corporation integrating and fostering the continuous improvement of processes.
“For us from WEG, the award represents the national recognition of the company as a reference in lean manufacturing, in addition to distinguishing WEG in the best quality and productivity practices among the great national and even global players”, says Mr. Reinaldo Stuart Junior, Industrial and Product Development Director of the Automation business unit.
In 2016, the organization had already been awarded, but then in the category “productivity”.
