WEG reinforces its position as a strategic partner in large-scale projects, providing a complete package of electrical solutions for the water sector in the Ras Al-Khair region, in the Middle East. The supply includes high-power and high-efficiency motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and transformers, which will be applied in a pumping system responsible for transmitting 1.2 million cubic meters of potable water per day through a 391 km pipeline network, ensuring a reliable and continuous supply for the region.

To meet the demands of this large-scale project, WEG supplied 40 high voltage W60 line motors, with power ratings between 1,700 kW and 9,100 kW, in addition to the VFDs and transformers. The W60 motors stand out for their high energy efficiency, durability, reliability, and low noise and vibration operation, as well as offering technical flexibility and low maintenance requirements.

The supply of the complete electrical package of motors, VFDs, and transformers represents a strategic advantage by centralizing the entire solution with a single supplier. This approach ensures greater system reliability, optimizes communication, and reinforces WEG's position as a reference partner in large-scale projects in the water sector.
