Firmware update is done by the product development team. For all updates, the customer receives a prior notice.

For the transformer being integrated into the WEG Transformer Fleet Management portal, it must be connected to the internet and previously registered on the portal according to the procedure described in "How do I connect my transformer to the Transformer Fleet Management portal?", which is available in this FAQ.

Specialist modules are functionalities that use artificial intelligence algorithms to provide diagnostics on certain conditions of the transformer, such as its lifetime, its energy management and, in oil transformers, its physical-chemical, its chromatographic and its dissolved gas analysis. To access them, the customer must have a WEG Transformer Scan and an active subscription on the WEG Transformer Fleet Management portal.

To access this feature, you need to log in to the WEG Transformer Fleet Management portal; then, click on the three bars icon located in the upper left corner of the screen. Following, click on the "Customers" icon. You will be redirected to a new page, so look for the "+Add New Customer" button, fill in all the required fields and, at the end, click "Save". After that, your company will be registered on the WEG Transformer Fleet Management portal. At last, it is important to emphasize that the Tax Number must be filled out correctly, otherwise the registration becomes unfeasible.
