Carlos José Bastos Grillo is graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG), and postgraduate in Production Engineering from the Universidade São Judas Tadeu/SP and he has in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

At WEG since 1997, the executive has extensive experience in products, industrial processes, engineering and software development.

Currently, the executive is responsible for the company's WEG Digital & Systems, which include digital solutions, systems for electrification and automation of the industry, energy and infrastructure, energy storage in batteries and electromobility, including charging stations for electric vehicles and powertrain electric traction.
