Ethikkodex
Der Ethikkodex der WEG ist ein Querschnittsthema, das auf den Menschenrechten der UNO und den Werten und Richtlinien des Unternehmens basiert und die Integrität der Mitarbeiter und Interessengruppen gewährleistet. Alle hierarchischen Ebenen des Unternehmens sind in den Entwicklungsprozess einbezogen, um eine breite und vielfältige Sichtweise zu fördern. Darüber hinaus fördert die WEG die Anwendung der Richtlinien des Ethikkodex auf ihre Stakeholder. Der Koordinationsprozess wird vom Ethik-Kodex-Managementausschuss durchgeführt und von der Geschäftsleitung und dem Verwaltungsrat genehmigt.
Aufgaben des Ethik-Kodex-Managementausschusses
- Den Ethikkodex in Zweifelsfällen interpretieren, um das Verständnis zu harmonisieren und Mehrdeutigkeiten in seiner Anwendung zu vermeiden.
- Den Ethikkodex regelmäßig analysieren und bei Bedarf im Licht seiner Anwendung und der ethischen Entwicklung im sozialen Bereich und innerhalb des Unternehmens überarbeiten.
- Die Ausrichtung der Anwendung zwischen den Gruppeneinheiten überwachen.
- Die Anwendung des Kodex im Unternehmen an die Geschäftsleitung melden.
- Die notwendigen Ressourcen für die Anwendung des Kodex bereitstellen.
WEG-Ethik-Kanal
Der Ethik-Kanal ist eines der Tools, die das WEG Compliance-Programm stärken, das die Ausrichtung des Unternehmensverhaltens entsprechend den Werten und Prinzipien, internen Regeln und dem, was die Gesellschaft in Bezug auf Gesetze und Bräuche vorschreibt, darstellt. Auf transparente und sichere Weise ermöglicht der Kanal eine direkte Kommunikation, sichere Behandlung und absolut vertrauliche Behandlung von Informationen. Der Kanal ist verfügbar.
Mitarbeiter und Geschäftspartner von WEG und ist 24 Stunden am Tag, sieben Tage die Woche in Betrieb.
Auf diesem Kanal ist es möglich:
- Fragen zu persönlichem Verhalten oder Verfahren in Ihrem Arbeitsbereich oder im Unternehmen zu klären.
- Beschwerden einzureichen.
- Den Status des Überprüfungsverfahrens und die abschließende Stellungnahme zu Bericht, Beschwerde und Vorschlag zu konsultieren.
WEG-Integritätsprogramm
WEG unterhält ständige Kontroll- und Überwachungsaktivitäten, um illegale Handlungen in seinen Aktivitäten und Geschäften zu verhindern und zu vermeiden. Ebenso verfolgt WEG einen prädiktiven Ansatz in Bezug auf Compliance und Compliance mit einem permanenten Verbreitungs- und Schulungsprogramm zu Ethik- und Integritätsfragen.

Am Ende bestätigen sie ihre Kenntnis dieser Politik. Die Schulungen haben einen globalen Umfang und werden in Portugiesisch, Englisch, Spanisch, Mandarin und Deutsch durchgeführt.
Schulung neuer Mitarbeiter zum Verhaltenskodex
Bei der Einstellung erhalten alle neuen Mitarbeiter, einschließlich Teilzeitmitarbeiter, eine Schulung zu den im Ethikkodex der WEG behandelten Themen. Der Ethikkodex behandelt Themen im Zusammenhang mit ethischen Standards, wie beispielsweise der Korruptionsbekämpfung, Menschenrechten und der Umwelt. Darüber hinaus wird das System zur Überwachung und Nachverfolgung der Schulungen zu ethischen Standards für Zeitarbeitskräfte und Drittarbeiter verbessert. Der Ethikkodex steht den Mitarbeitern zur Verfügung und es werden Online-Schulungen angeboten, um ihr Verständnis des Kodex zu dokumentieren.
Risikomanagement
WEG verfolgt eine objektive Risikomanagementpolitik, um die Leitlinien des Managements festzulegen, um sicherzustellen, dass die Identifizierung, Analyse, Bewertung, Minderung und Überwachung von Risiken gemäß den definierten Methoden durchgeführt werden, wobei verschiedene Ebenen des Unternehmens Rollen und Verantwortlichkeiten übernehmen, unter Berücksichtigung der strategischen Planung, der Prozesse, Geschäftsmodelle und externen Faktoren.
Die Risikobewertung erfolgt regelmäßig durch Analyse und Einstufung der Risiken in sechs Kategorien: externe, strategische, finanzielle, personelle, Compliance- und Governance- und Betriebsrisiken.
Der Vorstand wird über die ermittelten Risiken sowie über die Aktionspläne zur Verbesserung und Minderung der relevantesten Risiken informiert.
Climate Risk Analysis
WEG, committed to sustainability and the responsible management of its assets, conducts risk analyses based on climate scenarios to ensure business continuity. This strategic approach allows the company to develop robust adaptation plans, anticipate potential impacts, and outline actions that strengthen its resilience to climate change.
As part of this commitment, since 2024, WEG has conducted a global analysis of its locations, considering four distinct climate change scenarios, aligned with the projections of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC): SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP3-7.0, and SSP5-8.5. This detailed assessment allows the company to understand the physical risks associated with each scenario and make informed strategic decisions to mitigate impacts and ensure the long-term sustainability of its operations.

Furthermore, WEG’s IT continuity plans are designed to mitigate operational risks, ensure operational resilience, and minimize impacts in disruption scenarios, such as system failures, cyberattacks, or natural disasters. The company conducts periodic testing and reviews of these strategies, aligning them with market best practices and the specific needs of its business. Internal Audit, as a strategic corporate area, reports directly to the Board of Directors of WEG S.A., ensuring independence and impartiality in its activities.
Moreover, the internal audit process plays a crucial role in continuously assessing internal controls, including those related to IT systems and processes.
WEG’s Internal Audit also plays a key role in strengthening corporate governance, promoting an organizational culture based on ethics, transparency, and accountability. Through regular reports to the Board of Directors, the area contributes to more informed strategic decisions aligned with the company’s objectives.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
Through the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy, the WEG Group establishes clear guidelines to ensure the legal, ethical, and responsible use of technology.
With global coverage, the Policy:
• Emphasizes compliance with data protection laws such as LGPD, GDPR, and PIPL, prohibiting the input of personal data, private information, or confidential data into non-approved AI applications. The company ensures that sensitive data is not used to retrain AI models and maintains strict guidelines for the secure handling of user data.
• Addresses cybersecurity risks associated with AI usage, including the potential manipulation of large language models (LLMs). Implementation of security measures is mandatory, such as restricting unauthorized AI-related APIs, plugins, or software. The company conducts risk assessments for AI applications and protects systems against vulnerabilities.
• Mitigates biases in AI algorithms by ensuring training datasets are representative of diverse populations. Algorithms undergo regular reviews and audits to identify and correct biases, promoting fairness and inclusion.
