WEG, a global technology and industrial solutions company, reaffirms its commitment to sustainability by announcing that its coatings business unit in Argentina, WEG Coatings, has signed an energy supply agreement with 360Energy, a company that generates electricity exclusively from solar energy.
Through this partnership, WEG Coatings has begun using 100% clean energy in its production processes, contributing to industrial decarbonization and reducing environmental impacts. The energy supplied by 360Energy is generated by photovoltaic solar parks, a comprehensive and sustainable solution that directly reflects WEG’s sustainability strategy, strengthening the adoption and expansion of renewable energy use across its operations.

360Energy is recognized for its performance in generating electricity exclusively from renewable sources, using state-of-the-art technology to produce clean energy on a large scale. The supply of renewable energy will allow WEG Coatings to avoid the emission of approximately 223 tons of CO₂ per year.
