WEG is the overall champion of the Época Negócios 360° Yearbook, one of Brazil’s most respected business awards, organized by Época Negócios magazine and Fundação Dom Cabral. The achievement of first place in the overall ranking and recognition as Best Company in the Mechanics and Metallurgy segment followed a rigorous technical evaluation that analyzed 449 Brazilian companies across 24 sectors. The award ceremony took place on Monday evening (8) in São Paulo.

In its 14th edition, the award evaluated companies with revenues starting at BRL 250 million in 2024, considering financial performance, corporate governance, socio-environmental performance, innovation, future outlook, and people management. The Yearbook recognizes companies that set benchmarks across 24 sectors.

WEG has been awarded as the Best Company in the Mechanics and Metallurgy segment since 2013 and, over the years, has also received trophies in other categories, such as sustainability, people management, and financial performance. The company entered the overall top 10 ranking in 2022, placing 9th, advancing to 5th in 2023 and 8th last year.

According to WEG CEO Alberto Kuba, the achievement is the result of collective effort and a solid, long-standing culture. “This recognition reflects the passion for technology and people development that has guided us since the company’s founding. It is a legacy built by our founders and strengthened by everyone who is part of WEG,” he stated.
