You'll need to remember the email address used in your account to perform automatic recovery. Just go to https://iot.weg.net and click on the "Forgot your password?" Link.
Enter your email and click on "Send verification code". Open the email with the title similar to "Verification code", copy the received code and paste it into the according field. Click "Verify code" and "Continue," then enter your new password.
Use this email to access content via the link available or to download the app from one of the available app stores. If you do not already have an account, navigate to https://iot.weg.net and click on "Sign Up" to create an account.
You will already have access to the plant that you were invited when you finish your registration.

You can follow one of the links below to be redirected to the app store on your smartphone or tablet.

A geração solar é sazonal e possui ciclos anuais.
Measurements stored in the WEG Motor Scan must be collected using the WEG Motor Scan mobile app with a smartphone or tablet through the Bluetooth conection. If the smartphone or tablet has an internet connection at the time of collection the data will be transferred automatically. However, data can be collected for later upload according to internet availability.
All sensor configuration will be erased and the WEG Motor Scan can be configured for use on another motor. The data collected and sent to the WEG IoT Platform will remain avaiable in the plant where the sensor was registered.
The registration of a new login can be done either by the WEG IoT Platform in https://iot.weg.net or through the mobile application following the instructions available on the screen. The platform and the application share the same login, not having to make two registrations.
The WEG Motor Scan must be configured using the instruction guide available in the mobile application.

The user can register the nameplate data manually through the field “I don't have a serial number”.

Vibration measurements occur according to the schedule chosen by the user during the WEG Motor Scan configuration. A maximum of 12 schedules are accepted per day and it is recommended to schedule times within the period of engine operation.
Yes. After the initial setup you can modify the schedules through the mobile app. It's necessary to be close to WEG Motor Scan to make configuration changes.

The WEG Motor Scan can be synchronized with the mobile app at approximately 10 meters or via gateway at approximately 30 meters. This is just a reference value, which may vary depending on the environment where the WEG Motor Scan and Gateway are installed.

No. The WEG Motor Scan application was developed to operate in environments without internet access. Measurements acquired by the smartphone or tablet during synchronization are stored and sent to the MFM software when the mobile device has internet access.

Using the mobile app, you can update the WEG Motor Scan location. The "Update location" option is available after synchronization in the "More" tab. The location sent to the WEG IoT Platform corresponds to the location information of the smartphone or tablet. There is no locating device installed on the sensor.
The WEG IoT Platform is open and can be accessed at https://iot.weg.net.
Through the WEG IoT Platform https://iot.weg.net or through the WEG Motor Scan mobile app.
When the plant is marked as public, any user of the WEG IoT Platform can view all the data of this plant. Only users with administrator permission of the plant are authorized to modify the data.

An event is characterized by the change in the state of one of the parameters that the WEG Motor Scan monitors. The change in the state indicates that one of the alarm criteria has been exceeded, both for the alert level and for the critical level.

When setting the alarm criteria levels, consider the application where the WEG Motor Scan is installed, and set appropriate values for the healthy operation of the motor, both for vibration and temperature, following the logic defined for the alarm criteria: Healthy (green): the motor is in its normal operating condition. Alert (yellow): scheduling a preventive stop of the motor is recommended for detailed diagnostics. Critical (red): an immediate corrective maintenance job on the motor is recommended.

Through the MFM software, on the asset screen, access the sensor data, click on "Tolerances". You can change the alert level and critical level values for vibration and temperature measurements.

Through the configuration options of the “Measurement unit” app.

This option is possible through contact with the sales team.

The user can choose to collect data with the app using a smartphone or tablet; in this case, through a collection route or automatically through the WEG Motor Scan gateway (sold separately). The gateway connects to the sensor via Bluetooth and can send data to the WEG Motion Fleet Management software through a connection via Ethernet cable, Wi-Fi or 4G modem (via USB, not sold by WEG).

We use standard security protocols for user authentication (OpenID) and authorization (OAuth 2.0) for our website and mobile apps. WEG products are integrated with the WEG Motion Fleet Management software using the MQTT 3.1.1 protocol over the TLS 1.2+ protocol.

The WEG Motor Scan sensor can be synchronized with the gateway at approximately 30 meters. This is just a reference value, which may vary depending on the environment where the WEG Motor Scan and gateway are installed.

Up to 100 WEG Motor Scan sensors.

The WEG Motor Scan gateway can connect to the WEG Motion Fleet Management software via ethernet cable, Wi-Fi or 4G modem (via USB port). WEG does not sell the 4G modem. To obtain a 4G modem, contact your telephone company.

The gateway is powered over Ethernet (PoE) through its Ethernet port. If the user's network does not have this structure, or when the WI-FI or 4G modem connection is used, WEG provides a PoE injector power supply. See the instruction manual for installation.

Using the WEG Motor Scan app, choose the option "New Device", then click on "Select", gateway "Cassia X1000". Follow the guidelines presented in the app or refer to the instruction manual at https://static.weg.net/medias/downloadcenter/hfd/h51/WEG-motor-scan-gateway-cassia-X1000-manual-10008451731-en-en-es.pdf.

Yes. The sensor can be installed both in electric motors and in machines such as gearboxes, pumps, fans and compressors coupled to electric motors. In those kinds of machines, the WEG Motor Scan is registered as generic (other applications) and is intended for monitoring vibration and temperature. See the product manual to install the WEG Motor Scan on the machine.

The WEG Motor Scan application provides the instructions step-by-step. When asked about the asset type, select “Other” and proceed with the configuration.
