WEG has supplied a complete drive package to EarthTechnica Co. Ltd., a Japanese OEM recognized for its solutions in waste processing technology. The supply includes two high-performance Wound Rotor Motors and a Liquid Rheostat Starter (LRS) system, engineered to meet the demanding operating conditions of a main shredder application.

The scope of supply consists of two WEG MAF Wound Rotor Motors (1,250 kW and 1500kW), along with LRS equipment manufactured by MKS. Both motors were manufactured at WEG’s state-of-the-art industrial facility in India, highlighting the plant's advanced capabilities and expertise in producing high-performance large rotating machinery.
