Developed with WEG expertise, the Specialist layer uses Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to provide refined diagnostics for assessing the transformer condition. Below are the main features:

Specialist Service Life – uses models that evaluate the consequence of load and temperature on the transformer, capable of estimating the aging rate of the insulation in hot spots and the percentage of the transformer consumed life. In this way, situations that are harmful to the transformer operability can be corrected or the budget to replace the device can be provided;
Specialist Bushing Analysis – monitors the transformer condenser bushings* online, employing algorithms that reflect their condition. Operating limits and failure probabilities are defined to ensure the integrity of the component, bringing greater assertiveness and predictability in the verification of failures.
Specialist DGA (offline e online*) – provides analyses for the concentration of gases dissolved in the oil through readings from the gas analyzer, if installed, or through the manual registration of laboratory tests of oil samples (offline mode). This data is presented on the platform historically through time series and trend curves for each monitored gas. In addition, the layer uses several methods and artificial intelligence to correlate and identify possible faults present in the transformer, defining limits and generating automatic diagnostics and recommendations.
Oil Analysis Specialist (offline) – allows checking the condition and quality of the transformer insulating oil (mineral or vegetable) by recording laboratory results of oil samples. In addition, it provides automatic diagnostics and recommendations to ensure proper maintenance of the device and support the optimization of maintenance events.
Specialist Fleet – developed to assess and classify the health and degree of criticality of the transformer fleet based on the health of each transformer, taking into account the monitored quantities, maintenance records and equipment information. In addition, it uses algorithms that indicate, among the entire transformer fleet, the assets that should receive additional attention, indicating the possible problem.

*Specialist Bushings and Specialist DGA Online functionalities are subject to the provision of specific sensor infrastructure on the transformer.
