Main characteristics

  • Vacuum impregnation: reduced vibration and noise;
  • Copper winding: insulation class H (180 °C) and insulation voltage of 1 kV;
  • Use of spacers between the winding layers: better thermal dissipation by reducing the operating temperature;
  • Special silicon steel plate: excellent magnetic properties in all directions, reduced losses and low operating temperature.

Construction

DRW detuning reactors are made of special silicon steel plate, ensuring excellent magnetic properties in all directions. All reactors are vacuum impregnated ensuring a low noise level and a long service life.

The winding is made of electrolytic copper with a high degree of purity and insulation that ensures temperature class H (180 ºC). In addition, a thermal protector is integrated to the central winding, which allows temperature monitoring and disconnection in case of overtemperature.
