Centroweg is awarded by Brazilian government
Focused on young apprentices, the WEG training center is recognized by Brazil¿s Development, Industry and Foreign Trade Ministry as one of the best corporate educational practices in 2008 in the cultural category.

In 2008, the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) decided to award the best corporate eduactional practices with the Educor Award and has chosen five institutions in four categories. In its first edition, the award honors CNI who is celebrating its 70 years of activity in the country and the objective is to choose and highlight projects focused on corporate education implemented by Brazilian academic institutions and stimulating research of new practices and to contribute for competition improvement in the country.

WEG got an award in the social category with the Centroweg case, the well known Escolinha (WEG Training Center): an area in the company which is responsible for training young apprentices.
