Center Break Disconnector (HE)

Designed and developed in compliance with NBR IEC 62.271-102 standard, they ensure the insulation of equipment or segments of substation lines when in the open position, allowing confirming visually that the isolated segment is powered down.

Double Side Break Disconnector (LB)

Dry-Type Transformer

Manufactured with the best epoxy resin available on the market, they do not present any risk of explosion and do not propagate fire. Ideal for environments with space limitations, they are compact and provide low installation costs and easy maintenance.

G Traction

The traction brushless synchronous alternators (three-phase or polyphase) for road and Mining applications (off-road trucks, buses and hybrid electric trucks) are manufactured with steel plate or cast iron frames (depending on the degree of protection chosen), complying with the IEEE Std 11, NBR 5052 and NBR5117 standards.

Hook Stick Disconnectors (GB)

Designed and developed in compliance with NBR IEC 62.271-102 standard, they ensure the insulation of equipment or segments of substation lines when in the open position, allowing confirming visually that the isolated segment is powered down.

Horizontal Semi-Pantograph Disconnector (SOH)

Designed and developed in compliance with NBR IEC 62.271-102 standard, they ensure the insulation of equipment or segments of substation lines when in the open position, allowing confirming visually that the isolated segment is powered down.

Hydraulic Turbines

The hydraulic turbines and hydromechanical equipment are highly reliable, and the efficiency is guaranteed by state-of-the-art equipment and qualified staff with extensive experience in the manufacturing process.

Francis, Kaplan, Open Pit and Pelton hydraulic turbines are available.

Small Distribution Transformer (up to 300 kVA)

WEG was one of the first manufacturers of Distribution Transformers up to 300 kVA to receive the certification from the Brazilian Labeling Program coordinated by INMETRO(National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology) and Eletrobrás, which confirms the compliance of the products with the power saving and energy efficiency standards. 

Small Power Transformers (up to 50,000 kVA)

The medium power transformer are designed according to the criteria established by NBR 5356 standard or complying with the requirements of the power utility companies and/or specific needs of each application.

Synchronous Alternators - G Aircraft

The 400-Hz frequency alternators of the G Aircraft line were developed for application on Ground Power Units (GPU), as power source to supply aircrafts on the ground, driven by diesel engines.

The GPUs are used in cases of maintenance and/or long stays of aircrafts on the ground, replacing the aircraft APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) generator. They reduce fuel and maintenance costs, and the noise generated by the APU.

Synchronous Alternators - G Rail

The traction brushless synchronous alternators (three-phase or polyphase) for railway and road applications are manufactured with steel plate or cast iron frame (depending on the degree of protection chosen), complying with the standards IEC61373, NBR 5052 and NBR5117.

Synchronous Alternators - G Truck

The G Truck line alternators are manufactured in finned cast iron frames, providing degree of protection IP56W, essential for the application, protection against bad weather and durability.

Driven by the truck tractor or another source of mechanical energy from the truck, they supply the necessary energy for gas pumping.

Synchronous Alternators - Naval and Oil _ Gas

The alternators are designed according to the naval standards especially to operate in maritime environments. Presenting excellent performance, the product has special electromechanical features which ensure durability, mechanical strength and robustness.

From the main generation to the auxiliary generation, on land or sea, the line has the features to guarantee a reliable operation.

Synchronous Alternators - Totally Enclosed

Solution developed for harsh environments, where the product robustness and quality are determining factors for a good performance.

The cast iron frame provides protection against weather exposure and resistance to corrosion, extending the product life cycle.

Synchronous Condensers

The synchronous condensers were specifically developed for voltage stabilization and power factor correction on electric power transmission grids.

When the variations of reactive power on the grid are not corrected, voltage instability, system isolation (islanding), voltage collapse, and, in extreme cases, the blackout of the electric system may occur.

Wind Turbines - AGW100

The wind turbines have active control of the blade pitch angle, and rotor variable speed with a synchronous generator of permanent magnets and direct coupling to the rotor, without the need of a speed multiplier.

All the functions of the wind turbines are monitored and controlled by a control unit based on microprocessors installed on the control panel and turbine control.
