High precision electronic circuits protected front line noises. Compact and suited for direct mounting on 35 mm DIN rail or with fixing screws. LEDs for status indication and high reliability contacts.
| WEG's RPW series are eletronic devices that monitor three-phase systems for phase loss RPW-FF (may be set to monitor neutral also), phase sequence inversion RPW-SF, or both functions in the same product RPW-FSF. When something abnormal occurs, the relay will switch off to interrupt the operation of the motor or process that is being monitored. Designed in compliance with international standards, the RPW offers a compact and safe solution, on frames only 22,5mm wide, for direct mounting on 35mm DIN rail. | Standards: IEC / EN 60947-1 IEC / EN 60947-5-1 Certification: ![]() |
Available in the following functions:
RPW-SF: Phase Sequence Relay
RPW-FF: Phase Loss Relay
RPW-FSF: Phase Sequence and Loss Relay
RPW-SS: Under and Overvoltage Relay
RPW-PTC: Thermistor Relay

Operation
---
RTW RE (On Delay): The timing is set on the front dial and it begins when control supply voltage is applied. When the selected time delay is complete, the output relay energizes. If control supply voltage is interrupted, the output relay de-energizes and the time delay is reset.
RTW PE (Impulse On): When control supply voltage is applied, the output relay energizes immediately and remains energized until the set pulse time is complete. If control supply voltage is interrupted, the output relay de-energizes and the time delay is reset.
RTW CI (Asymmetric Flasher Start On): ON and OFF times may be set on the front dials (ON - upper dial; OFF - lower dial). When control supply voltage is applied, time delay starts with the ON time first. When the ON time is completed, the OFF time starts. These cycles continue while the control supply voltage is applied. If control supply voltage is interrupted, the output relay de-energizes and the time delay is reset.
RTW RD (Off Delay With Control): This function requires continuous control supply voltage for timing. When control input is closed, the output relay energizes immediately. If control input is opened, the time delay starts. When the selected time delay is completed, the output relay de-energizes. If control input recloses before time delay is completed, the time delay is reset and the output relay does not change state. If control supply voltage is interrupted, the output relay de-energizes and the time delay is reset.
RTW ET (Star-delta): When control supply voltage is applied, the star output energizes immediately. The Star Time may be set on the front dial. When the Star Time is complete, the "dead time" starts (preset to 100ms) and then the delta output is energized. If control supply voltage is interrupted, the output relay de-energizes and the timing is reset.
RTW CIL (Symmetric Flasher Start On): The ON and OFF times are equal and may be set on the front dial. When control supply voltage is applied, symmetrical ON and OFF times start. The cycle starts with an ON time first. If control supply voltage is interrupted, the output relay de-energizes and the time delay is reset.
RTW CID (Symmetric Flasher Start Off): The ON and OFF times are equal an may be set on the front dial. When control supply voltage is applied, symmetrical ON and OFF times start. The cycle starts with an OFF time first. If control supply voltage is interrupted, the output relay de-energizes and the time delay is reset.
RTW CIR (Asymmetric Flasher Start Off): ON and OFF times may be set on the front dials (ON - upper dial; OFF - lower dial). When control supply voltage is applied, time delay starts with the OFF time first. When the OFF time is completed, the ON time starts. These cycles continue while the control supply voltage is applied. If control supply voltage is interrupted, the output relay de-energizes and the time delay is reset.
RTW RDI (Off Delay No Control): When control supply voltage is applied, the output relay energizes immediately. When control supply voltage is interrupted, the time delay starts. When the selected time delay is completed, the output relay de-energizes. No auxiliary control voltage is required (time delay limited to 10 minutes).
