A petrochemical refinery in Brazil is turning up the steam to meet increased domestic demand by becoming the first crude oil refinery to be entirely built with Brazilian technology. This includes WEG motors at the heart of one of their core processes.
WEG is awarded as one of the 20 most innovative companies in Brazil. The ranking, led by Whirlpool, includes companies such as Vale, Embraco and White Martins.
WEG supplies cubicles, control and automation panels, a generator, transformers, MCCs, frequency inverters and high efficiency three-phase electric motors to Usina Miriri.
